What is the Chamber of Commerce?

An "Action" oriented organization for mobilizing citizens and business to advance the betterment of Joshua through economic development.

The Joshua Area Chamber of Commerce is run by a voluntary Board of Director's elected by the total membership.

The Joshua Area Chamber of Commerce has one paid employee that handles the daily paperwork and phone calls.

 

 

What does the JACC do for me?

  • Provides business networking opportunities to increase your business customer base.
  • Works to lower the individual business tax burden by actively seeking out new businesses to expand our tax base.
  • Works to attract new development that brings new residents with new spending power.
  • Works to establish cooperative promotional programs to enhance your business.
  • Encourages individuals and businesses to shop locally for goods, services, and products.

Advertising Opportunities

  • Photo in local newspaper upon joining the Chamber
  • Opportunity to advertise in the Membership Directory - only available to members.
  • Newsletter Advertising - As a service to members, Also we sell ads in the newsletter: Business card size $15.00, 1/8 page us $25.00, 1/4 page is $40.00
  • Website advertising - advertise your business with an eye catching banner ad on the website for just $50.00 per year. Website hits have ben about 11,000 per month recently.

Referrals

  • Approximately 1,500 inquiries made per year
  • Chamber refers to Chamber members
  • One referral could pay for your membership cost
  • Referrals from other Chamber Members
  • All members are listed in the Membership Directory. Directories are Distributed to all members, prospective members, and to those people requesting information on Joshua through a relocation package.
